Founder & Executive Chairwoman — Senergy Group

Sheikha Somayeh Noor

Sheikha Somayeh Noor is the Founder and Executive Chairwoman of Senergy Group, a Dubai-based energy group focused on identifying, structuring and developing strategic opportunities across conventional and transition energy markets. She is the vision behind the Group, and the key figure in every relationship it builds.

As Founder, she leads the Group's overall direction across strategy, corporate governance, capital allocation, international development and strategic partnerships. Her role centres on bringing together capital, governments, industrial operators, technical expertise and technology partners to transform complex energy opportunities into investable, executable and commercially sustainable projects.

Under her leadership, Senergy Group is building an integrated and diversified energy platform spanning upstream oil and gas, gas-to-power, modular refining, natural hydrogen, biomass-to-power, energy engineering and related infrastructure.

Opportunities that remain underdeveloped or overlooked — brownfield assets with expansion potential, stranded resources, infrastructure constraints — accelerated through engineering and modular solutions with greater capital efficiency.

The Group's strategic approach focuses particularly on opportunities that remain underdeveloped or overlooked across global markets, including brownfield assets with expansion potential, stranded or under-utilised energy resources, infrastructure constraints and projects that can be accelerated through technology, engineering and modular solutions with greater capital efficiency.

Sheikha Somayeh personally leads the Group's key relationships with institutional investors, government entities, international partners and senior industry stakeholders. Under her leadership, every project is expected to be developed through rigorous technical assessment, financial discipline, regulatory compliance, responsible risk management and a clearly defined path to execution.

Her role extends beyond the development of individual energy projects. She is building Senergy Group as an institutional platform capable of bringing together capital, technology, resources and local capabilities within a disciplined structure, enabling complex and under-utilised opportunities to be transformed into commercially viable and long-term value-generating assets.

Managing Director — Senergy Group

Dr Hadi Parvizi

Dr Hadi Parvizi runs Senergy Group and leads its engineering. For two decades he has worked at the interface of the reservoir and the boardroom: the same person who builds the simulation model builds the economics, sits in the partner meeting and writes the board paper.

His career spans an oilfield-services major, European and international operators and his own consultancies, with outstanding performance in each: chief reservoir engineering for one of North Africa's largest unitised oil fields, senior reservoir engineering across a producing portfolio in North Africa and the Gulf, and gas developments in the UK North Sea from sanction into production.

Making uncertainty investable — measured against how the best comparable fields in the world actually performed.

The results are measured in value: material value shifted in a client's favour in a giant-field unitisation and redetermination; material incremental net present value from development optimisation in the North Sea; an infill drilling campaign that added more than 10 million barrels of reserves; and more than 150 development scenarios, each with 200 uncertainty runs, analysed to find the options that maximise recovery and return.

He holds a PhD in petroleum engineering on hydraulic fracturing and an Executive MBA, serves on the Reservoirs Directorate Committee of the Society of Petroleum Engineers, is an Honorary Research Fellow of the University of Glasgow, and presented his research at the UK Parliament (SET for Britain, 2015). He is the author of Senergy's benchmarking doctrine — forty indicators across seven families, applied with the Group's benchmarking partner — and of published work on fractured-well evaluation and AI in reservoir simulation.

The wider board

Around the two of them, a board that has run the biggest fields and closed the biggest deals

Senergy keeps its board out of the headlines and in the work. Three seats describe who else is in the room.

SEAT I

Technical assurance

Seventeen years inside a national oil company, rising to group technical authority for reservoir management and field development, followed by senior technical leadership in an international operator. A director of the Society of Petroleum Engineers International.

Led the technical case in an upstream transaction of major scale. Independent check on every project the Group takes forward.

SEAT II

Geoscience and business development

More than twenty-six years on four continents. Pore-pressure prediction, operations geology and the delivery of multistage hydraulically fractured tight-gas wells — the geoscience that opens the hardest plays.

Value unlocking and business development for the upstream company of Berkshire Hathaway Energy, in the North Sea, Australia and globally.

SEAT III

The wider technical team

Reservoir, geoscience, production, process and power engineers who have delivered field development plans, modular plants and gas-to-power projects across the Gulf, North Africa, the North Sea and Southeast Asia.

Project-finance specialists and, through Senergy's partners, digital and AI capability for production optimisation and monitoring. Full profiles are available to counterparties and investors on request.

Engagements delivered by Senergy's founders, embedded with operators and as independent advisers, before Senergy existed. Regions and scope are as delivered.

Unitisationequity redetermination

Giant unitised oil fieldNorth Africa

Technical lead on unitisation and redetermination for one of the region's largest fields, shifting material value in the client's favour; ran the reservoir-management cycle — infill and workover selection, water-flood surveillance, annual field development updates.

Technical leadership of the case behind an upstream deal of major scale with a national oil company — reserves, development plan and the value the buyer could defend.
